幼儿园双语教学的体会 儿童语言发展各方面研究表明,3~6岁是语言学习的最佳时期。幼儿从出生起便开始主动积极地学习语言,并且可以同时接受几种语言信号。结合在幼儿园进行的双语教学活动,我发现幼儿在能够熟练运用母语表达的同时,可以学会自如地运用第二门语言。(以英语为例) 一、向幼儿展示成熟的语言 倾听优美的英文儿歌、民歌,感受其美妙,区分其与中文的差异。在教学活动中,我发觉让小朋友聆听英国一些原版的歌曲、律诗、韵文,可以让小朋友在最原始的模仿状态下得到纯正的“发音储存”。 2.不急于说,听准确后再慢慢模仿 幼儿学习语言,一个很重要的环节是重复。我曾经播放《狮子王》录音磁带的片断(约五分钟)给中班小朋友听(全英文磁带),听过3遍后,小朋友已经可以对每句话的后面几个字进行模仿(期间我并未做过中文解释)。第二天我又播放同一段录音给他们听,他们可以在“紧急情况”dangers来临之前便已经发出“警报”;第三天,我再一次播放同一段录音时,小朋友感觉就像是在听中文故事一样,能够自然地蹦出几个“关键”词。 3.反复听,强化印象 幼儿的记忆瞬间性较强,反复强化后,可以使瞬间的印象很长久地刻在记忆深处。这也是为什么小时候背颂的古诗成年后也不会忘记的原因。每次上课时,需要把前面学过的内容听一遍,温故而知新。 4.了解不同的事物可以用同一方式表达 经过一两年的幼儿园生活和语言学习,在欣赏和模仿的同时,还能够初步地自由运用外语。比如中班课程中有一首歌曲《At the farm》(在农场)(南师大《幼儿英语》教材中):“Pigs at the farm go Onik, Onik……”,是说小猪在农场走路时还发出“哼哼”的叫声,小朋友便会自由发挥,把歌曲中的“pigs”换成了“ducks”、“dogs”、“cats”、“cows”等等,同时把“pigs”的叫声“onik”也改成了“ducks→Quack”、“dogs→wow→wow”、“cats→meow”、“cows→moo”。 二.教学形式多元化,以培养兴趣为主 1.直观教学 3~5岁幼儿(中、小班)思维方式很直接,注意力集中时间短,我就相应将课堂教学内容简单直观地引入。一位外籍幼儿教师朋友告诉我说:“Pictures are important in English class for kids”,在给幼儿上课如果没有图画是不行的。比如小班在学bee(蜜蜂)时,先挂出画满鲜花和蜜蜂的图画,边放可以边唱《flying bee》边作动作(双手插腰,前后摆动,边走边唱),生动贴切的动作,结合音乐,小朋友非常感兴趣,在不知不觉中就学会了“bee”。中班可以设定生活情景,如打电话:“Hello! This is MissGong”、“Who is that?”、“Hello! This is Maomao.”等等。 2.游戏教学 结合诗歌、律动、歌曲,运用肢体语言把英文教学融入快乐的游戏中,让小朋友尽量在自由的环境中,不知不觉地学会了英语。例如: ①运用音乐律动增强学习抽象词语的趣味性。比如:早、中、晚餐。 Dinner is ready 炒青菜,烤香鸡,豆腐汤和红烧鱼 Dinner is healthy 好味口不挑剔,宝宝健康又美丽 Dinner is good for everybody 大家快乐笑嘻嘻 配上滑稽的动作,既生动又有趣,小朋友特别喜欢。 ② 游戏多样化Paper scissors stone游戏 比赛paper、scissors、stone(石头、剪刀、布) 大家共同说Paper、scissors、stone后“咕噜噜”,输方可以说“wu gaga,wu gaga”,动静结合,增加学习英文的趣味性。 ③ 变些小魔术 比如小班学习红、黄、蓝三种颜色,可以变个魔术:拿三个矿泉水瓶,每瓶充半瓶水,先让小朋友看水是透明的,然后“偷偷”地把事先涂好颜料的盖子盖上,用力shake,让盖子上的颜料溶于水中,一边让孩子观察“神奇”结果,一边(“red red come here!”)请小朋友说出这种颜色的英文。(文/浙江大学附属幼儿园 龚 玺)
