Thank you for contacting ABC Company." Thank you for your prompt reply."或是"Thanks for getting back to me." I am writing to enquire about …"或是"I am writing in reference to …" Thank you for your patience and cooperation."或"Thank you for your consideration." If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to let me know." 及"I look forward to hearing from you." Best regards," "Sincerely,"及"Thank you,"都很规范化。
Dear Hugo Chu, Wish everything well with you and your esteemed company ! We are in receipt of your letter dated Aug 10 , and as requested was expressed you 3 catalogues for our refrigeration goods . We hope they will reach you in due course and will help you in making your selection . Wish we will promote business as well as friendship! Best wishes ! HAVE YOU RECEIVED MY P/I, IS THERE ANY QUESTION OR PROBLEM WITH YOU? Dear Sir, Good morning! Hope you have got a wonderful weekend! For several days no news from you, my friend. Now I am writing for reminding you about our offer for item of **** dated ** ** ** according to your relative inquiry. Have you got (or checked) the prices or not? ( You can add some words to introduce your advantage of your product or something else to attract the customer). Any comments by return will be much appreciated. It will be our big pleasure if we have opportunities to be on severice of you in near future. Looking forward to your prompt response, Thanks and best regards, Yours Faithfully Aaron Dear Sir, Now I am writing for keeping in touch with you for further business. If any new inquiry, welcome here and I will try my best to satisfy you well with comptetitive prices as per your request. By the way, how about your order (or business) with item ***? If still pending I would like to offer our latest prices to promote an opportunity to cooperate with each other. Thanks and best regards, Aaron 三. (1)subject: Introduction Dear Mr. / Ms., This is to introduce Mr. Frank Jones, our new marketing specialist who will be in London from April 5 to mid April on business. We shall appreciate any help you can give Mr. Jones and will always be happy to reciprocate. (1) subject: Request for an Appointment Dear Mr. Smith I am scheduled to visit the U.S. on business at the end of this month, and wish to call on you at your office on that occasion. I will be arriving in Washington on or around August 20 and staying there for about a week. It would be very much appreciated if you would kindly arrange to meet with me either on August 22 or 23, whichever is convenient for you. If neither is convenient, could you please suggest an alternative date by return E-mail. Thank you in advance for your kind cooperation. I am looking forward to meeting you in Washington soon! Deciding to rescind the earlier estimate, our report was updated to include $40,000 for new equipment.” Deciding to rescind our earlier estimate, we have updated our report to include $40,000 for new equipment. He decided not to audit the last ten contracts. Because of our previous objections about compliance. The owner questioned the occupant’s lease intentions and the fact that the contract had been altered with ink markings. The owner questioned the occupant’s lease intentions and ink alterations of the contract. 4. An authorized person must show that they have security clearance. 5. 1).This is one of the public-relations functions that is underbudgeted. 2). This is one of the public-relations functions, which are underbudgeted. 6. He did not make repairs, however, he continued to monitor the equipment. He did not make repairs; however, he continued to monitor the equipment. 8. MUST change to OS immediately. Dr. Howard E. Hyatt 2. Smith, Wyatt, and Fury 。 用Mesdames, Mmes., or Mses. Farb, Lionel, and Gray 。 Dr. and Mrs. Harold Wright ;Mr. Harold Wright and Dr. Margaret Wright ;Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Adams-Quinn 。 3. Ms. Sarah Gray 4. 例如: Ken Green, President /Ken Green /Vice President of International Operations 但这个就显得有点。。。: Ken Green /Vice President of Unicom China 正确应为: Ken Green /Vice President, Unicom China 5. 这就是Internet(因特网,国际互联网)。 在网上最常使用的服务就是E-mail(电子邮件,electronic mail,常缩略为E-mail,e-mail 或email),这是因为电子邮件不但使用方便、传播快捷、可以一信多发,而且价格十分低廉,特别适合国际间的交流。 ii.手把手教你: [one possible version] dear mr and mrs smith, im a chinese girl. my name is yang li. im very happy to know that ill stay at your house for the english summer camp. id like to tell you something about myself so that you can know a bit about me before i arrive. im fifteen years old. i have a happy family with three people. im studying in no.1 middle school. we learn eight subjects. im interested in all of them. i like reading and playing the piano. i like english very much, but my english is not good enough. i think you can help me with my english. i hope to meet you soon. yours truly, yang li ⅲ. [one possible version] dear joyce, how are you?my name is fang fang.im a middle school student.im living in chongqing now.i like collecting stamps.after school,i often play football or play some other sports.whats more,i like english very much and i can sing a few english songs.by the way, some of my classmates want to have net friends, too.can you help them? i havent been to any foreign countries yet, but i hope to visit your country soon. yours, fang fang 九. Email is becoming ever important in both business and in our personal lives. Here are some tips to write effective emails. Useful Subject Lines A good subject line will help people know the proper context before they read your message. It should be brief and does not need to be written in a complete sentence. The subject line should give the readers a clue to the contents of the message. For example: Subject: Feb. work schedules Mike, will you please fill in your work schedule forms for Feb.? I need to get it before Friday. You can ask for the forms at the reception desk or you can download the forms from the public folder on our intranet. Thank you! (Here the subject line summarizes nicely the most important details of the message. ) Labelling your message For time-critical messages, label your message URGENT: For example: Subject: URGENT: Need work schedules of Feb. Many Email packages allow you to do this very easily. Urgent messages will appear in a different colour or marked with a flag. If you are presenting non-urgent information that requires no response from the other person, mark your message with FYI: (For Your Information) For example: Subject: FYI: Sales figure March Hi, all. Here are the sales figure for March ..... Layout Words on a computer screen look different than on paper, and usually people find it harder to read things on a screen. This means you should think of your email page layout. Keep it short Frequently email messages will be read in a document window with scrollbars. While scrollbars are nice, it makes it harder to visually track long paragraphs. Consider breaking up your paragraphs to only a few sentences apiece. Limit what you write Nobody wants to read long, complicated sentences. If they want more information, they can ask for it. You can attach files if you want to send something longer or you need to use tables, graphics and other material. Summary In summary, less is more! Keep your lines short, keep your paragraphs short, and keep the message short. clue (n.) 线索 - When you’re sending out an email that several people are reading, don’t use pronouns. “He should be able to tackle this afterwards” may make a ton of sense to you, but don’t assume other people will know who “he” is, what “this” is, and what “afterwards” refers to. - If you’ve got a file you want to show that’s less than 100,000 lines or so, put it into a web directory and just send out the url. Then people can access the raw file if they want, or look at the file in their browser. - If you email many people and ask for someone to do something, no one’s responsible. It’s better to ask one specific person to take the action. - If you’re sending out an email with links in it, check your links by clicking on them before you send that email. - As soon as you type “I’m cc’ing (someone)” in an email, go up and cc them right then. You look silly when you say you’re cc’ing someone and then you don’t. - Try to keep hyperlinks short enough so that they don’t wrap around or get cut off by someone’s mail program.
